The Vendors

  • The Venues

The Farmer’s Daughters & Son is a fairly new venue to the Marietta, Ohio area and it is a one stop shop when it comes to the bride’s needs and wants. It has a beautiful pond for dreamy sunset photos and housing for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready on location.

A similar venue but a little off the beaten path with gorgeous valley views is The Barn at White Pine Acres! It has a more rustic feel but there is nothing rustic about the the beautiful decorations, on site housing, and outdoor ceremony spaces.

  • The Wedding Planner

Misti Sims of Little Black Dress Events is an outstanding wedding planner. She can make your wedding day dreams a reality! Misti is focused, organized, and is absolutely wonderful to work with. When she is in charge I know that the bride will have an amazing day.

Taylor, owner of Today’s the Big Day LLC. and her team are absolutely amazing, personable, and client oriented. They bring your dreams to life and are super focused on all the details. Her teams runs the show so well the day of the wedding you will be able to sit back and relax.

  • The Caterer

This recommendation may not come as a surprise, but it is Theo’s Catering based out of Cambridge! They are a locally owned restaurant that does an excellent job when it comes to prepping for your rehearsal dinner and day of the wedding! Plus, you cannot beat the tastings they offer their lovely couples.

  • The Baker

As a makeup artist I am not usually able to sample the wedding cake, however I do get to sample Lisas Sweet Stop when her food truck, filled with delicious goodies, is in Marietta, OH. The cupcakes are heaven in a bite size treat! Be sure to check out their page for images of her beautifully decorated wedding cakes and other desserts.

  • The Photographers

I work with way too many photographers to just narrow down my favorites list to just one! Each of these photographers has totally different styles , but all are exceptional at their job!

Danielle Theobald is ALWAYS so booked out, but snag her while you can. She also offers Videography as an additional cost.

Megan B. Photography is a truly talented wedding photographer. Not only is she a bubbly delight to perk up any party, she also provides stellar photos to remember how much fun you had!

Courtney Jackson is just the aboslute sweetest human and her work is moody and trendy. Her work on your walls would be absolute ART.

Little Bee Photography By Brandy Lane has a crisp clean look that is timeless. Her works is not only outstanding, but so is her love for what she does. You wont be disappointed!

  • The Videographer

Wedding Videos are becoming more and more common with the brides I typically work with. I highly recommend Kyle Graham Productions. He is skilled in what he does and creates such beautiful and unique to the client video. Truly a memory that will last a lifetime!

Danielle Theobald offers videography if you purchase her for your wedding photography packages - cannot beat a twofer!

  • The DJ

A DJ that I recommend would have to be DJ Correct. Once again, I am typically not in attendance at the reception, but you can usually catch DJ Correct at The Adelphia Music Hall. He plays fun upbeat music to get everyone on the dance floor!

Another DJ I have met at some vendor events I have worked at is DJ A-Roc. He is super talented and keeps the party going. He also has awesome photo booth where you can create boomarangs to remember the festivities! Either of these DJs are sure to show up and show out!

  • The Florists

I have seen and worked with two florists in the area and they have their own unique styles. Wildroot Flower Company has a gorgeous farm located in Reno and the owner teaches classes throughout the summer season! Go to a U-Pick and chat with the her about your custom bouquet.

I highly reccomend The Flower Daddy. He has a storefront that is located in Belpre, Ohio and has the cutest displays and gifting options. Jamie’s style is modern yet versatile, and you can tell He is constantly looking at fashion trends and styles for the arrangements he creates!

  • The Hairstylists

I work very closely with your bridal hairstylist and have a few I truly enjoy working with! Torrey Archer is a hair wizard and her upbeat personality is sure to keep you smiling while in her chair. Also, Chelsea from The Hair Hippie is skilled at bridal braids and all things bohemian. I cannot stress enough how lovely each of these ladies is to work with.

Another Hair queen I have had the pleasure of working with is Jessy Higgins. She is so sweet and for being new to the game is super talented! She is sure to bring peace of mind to your morning when she is doing your hair. Not only is she so skilled but she is quick as well!

  • The Facialist

    The Facial

The perfect application of makeup is reliant upon a client’s skincare routine. I have received facials from One.Skincare Studio in Vienna and highly recommend Denise or Oddy to everyone. Their studio is an oasis and they carry products to purchase for continued self care at home. They have lots of facials to offer clients and also offer microblading services.

  • The Tan

The brides I work with mention wanting to be tan for their wedding day regardless of the time of year. I cannot stress to my clients enough how terrible tanning beds are for your skin and your health. The safest route for a golden glow is a spray tan. Tiffany Harmon at Paradise Cove does a wonderful job of creating natural looking tans. She is knowledgable and so friendly. Achieve a sun-kissed glow while saving your skin!

  • The Gift

Are you stumped on what to get your Partner, and a watch or cologne just does not seem quite right? Well, your answer lies at Hot Tomato Portrait Studios! It is an all women based company designed with you in mind. They are in the business of building confidence one boudoir photo at a time. For all my Booked brides I can offer a discount on a boudoir Session with Hot Tomato!

  • The Stay

If you have guests coming in from out of town and they want a hotel stay with local flair, send them to The Hackett. It is above a local restaurant in downtown Marietta. Not only will the stay feel luxurious, it’s also close to lots of things to do within walking distance.

  • The Rentals

Ace of Hearts designs is dedicated to creating unique designs for any of your special occasions. Samantha has carefully chosen gorgeous pieces that will compliment anyones style. She has curated packages for all budgets and even creates cute activity boxes for young ones to enjoy!

  • The Dress

What is a wedding without the dress? Well, if you’re still in need of a shop local to Parkersburg you will want to check out Elizabeth Michaels Boutique. She has gowns galore and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. You can go online and set up a date and time to stop in, shop, and try on her gorgeous bridal and prom gowns.

  • The Transportation

Large Wedding parties usually require a shuttle service to and from a multitude of places. Check out WV Sprinter Renter for a luxury passenger van experience. They are kind, curtious, and reasonably priced. Renting a shuttle service is also a great route for any special event that involves adult beverages.
